Leucovorin is used to prevent harmful effects of methotrexate (Rheumatrex, Trexall; cancer chemotherapy medication) when methotrexate is used to treat certain types of cancer. Leucovorin is also used to treat people who have accidentally received an overdose of methotrexate or similar medications

Leucovorin is used as an antidote to the harmful effects of methotrexate (a cancer medicine) that is given in high doses. It is used also to prevent or treat certain kinds of anemia. Leucovorin acts the same way in the body as folic acid, which may be low in these patients

Leucovorin is an active metabolite of folic acid and an essential coenzyme for nucleic acid synthesis. 1 Leucovorin can be used to selectively “rescue” cells from the adverse effects of methotrexate or to increase the efficacy of fluorouracil.

Folinic Acid (also known as 5-formyl tetrahydrofolic acid or leucovorin) is the 5-formyl derivative of tetrahydrofolic acid, a necessary co-factor in the body.

Bosentan is a dual endothelin receptor antagonist marketed under the trade name Tracleer by Actelion Pharmaceuticals. Bosentan is used to treat pulmonary hypertension by blocking the action of endothelin molecules that would otherwise promote narrowing of the blood vessels and lead to high blood pressure.

Bosentan is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH, high blood pressure in the vessels that carry blood to the lungs) in adults and children 3 years of age and older. Bosentan may improve the ability to exercise and slow the worsening of symptoms in patients with PAH

Bosentan works by competitively blocking endothelin-1 (ET-1) receptors (both ETA and ETB) in the pulmonary vasculature, preventing ET-1 from causing blood vessel constriction, smooth muscle cell proliferation, fibrosis, and inflammation. By antagonizing these effects, bosentan relaxes pulmonary arteries, lowers pulmonary pressure, decreases pulmonary vascular resistance, and increases blood supply to the lungs, thereby treating

Eltrombopag is used to treat thrombocytopenia (low platelets in the blood) in patients with a blood disorder called chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). This medicine is used after a splenectomy (surgery to remove the spleen) and other medicines (eg, steroids or immunoglobulin) have not worked well enough.

Eltrombopag should not be taken with foods, drinks, or other medicines that contain high concentrations of calcium, iron, magnesium, aluminium, selenium or zinc. the interaction is not harmful, but it does stop your body from being able to absorb eltrombopag properly, which means it won't work as well.

The patients who responded to eltrombopag had a slightly higher platelet count and lower immature platelet fraction before starting treatment than those who did not respond (Figure 2). There was no difference in platelet size or AIPF between eltrombopag responders and nonresponders

Fenbendazole, [5-(phenylthio)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]carbamic acid methyl ester, is widely used to treat pinworms, other helminthes, and a variety of parasitic infections in laboratory animals, livestock, companion animals, and people (1–3). We became interested in fenbendazole when our university veterinarians recommended that all experimental rodents, including uninfected colonies such as ours, be treated with a fenbendazole-containing diet because of pinworm infections in some colonies. Our research uses tumors in rats and mice to evaluate the effects of new regimens for treating solid tumors with radiation and/or anticancer drugs (4–10). As we researched this proposed prophylactic treatment, we became concerned that the fenbendazole-containing chow might compromise our experiments, but also became intrigued by the possibility that this drug might have antineoplastic effects, by disrupting the tubulin microtubule equilibrium, or by altering the viability or radiosensitivity of cells in the hypoxic environments found in solid tumors. Fenbendazole acts on helminthes primarily by binding to tubulin and disrupting the tubulin microtubule equilibrium; its utility as an antiparasitic drug results from differences in the structures of tubulin in mammalian cells and in lower organisms, which lead to its greater binding to tubulin, and therefore greater inhibition of polymerization, in the parasites (11–13). In addition, the limited absorption of fenbendazole from the intestine results in low levels of the drug and its active metabolites in tissue relative to the levels within the gut, to which the targeted parasites are exposed (1, 14, 15). Several widely used anticancer drugs produce their antineoplastic effects by disrupting either microtubule formation (vincristine; vinblastine) or microtubule depolymerization (paclitaxel; docetaxel) (13, 16), suggesting that fenbendazole could have antitumor effects. Some data in the literature support this hypothesis (13). A Fenbendazole-containing diet combined with supplemental high dose of vitamins was reported by Gao et al. to inhibit growth of a human lymphoma xenografted into scid mice (17); it was unclear whether this reflected a direct effect of the drug on tumor cells or stimulation of host immune responses. Bai et al. reported that fenbendazole reduced the engraftment of brain tumors in nude mice (18). Chung et al. reported in a meeting presentation (19) that high doses of fenbendazole, albendazole and mebendazole inhibited the growth of paclitaxel-resistant tumors. Solid tumors develop regions of severe hypoxia very early in their development, at diameters of less than 1 mm (5, 6). As tumors grow, they concomitantly elicit the development of their vascular beds through angiogenesis, neovascularization, and co-option of vessels from normal tissues. However, tumor vascular beds lack the organization and regulation found in the vasculature supporting healthy normal tissues. The vessels are tortuous and irregular, and lack the musculature that normally regulates blood flow. Blind ends and shunting are common, and vessels frequently have microscopic and macroscopic holes that permit plasma or blood to leak into surrounding tissue. In addition, the growing tumors often invade or compress blood and lymphatic vessels, further compromising perfusion. As a result, solid tumors contain regions, where temporary interruptions in blood flow through individual vessels or persistent regional deficiencies in perfusion produce transient and chronic hypoxia. Because molecular oxygen is a potent chemical radiosensitizer (4–6, 20), hypoxic tumor cells are resistant to radiation, can survive radiation regimens that would eradicate fully aerobic cell populations, and can cause tumors to recur after radiation therapy. Intensive efforts in our laboratory and many others, have therefore been devoted to improving the outcome of radiation therapy by combining radiation with drugs that improve tumor oxygenation,

Herduo Tablet is used in the treatment of breast cancer. It works by stopping or slowing down the growth of cancer cells. It is either used alone or in combination with some other medicine to cure advanced-stage breast cancer.

Herduo Tablet should be taken on an empty stomach or an hour before or 2 hours after a meal. The dose and duration vary according to the severity of your condition and your response to treatment. Take it exactly as prescribed to avoid serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, headache, back pain, and breathing difficulty. It may cause severe diarrhea, drink plenty of fluids or consult with your doctor if it bothers you. You may be asked for regular monitoring of blood pressure while taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if you notice a severe headache, confusion, problems with your eyesight, nausea, or vomiting. Your doctor may check your liver function before, during, and after treatment with this medicine.

Before taking Herduo Tablet, let your doctor know if you have liver or kidney problems. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your healthcare team know all medications you are taking. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.

Description. Ivermectin is used to treat river blindness (onchocerciasis), intestinal infection from threadworms (strongyloidiasis), and other kinds of worm infections. Ivermectin is an anthelmintic. It works by interfering with the nerve and muscle functions of worms, by paralyzing and killing them.

If you have a weak immune system (caused by disease or by using certain medicine), you may need to take more than one dose of ivermectin. Some people who have a weak immune system need to take this medicine on a regular basis. Follow your doctor's instructions

Ivermectin is neither a steroid nor an antibiotic; it is an antiparasitic medication. While effective in treating certain parasitic infections, its misuse can lead to adverse effects. Understanding its correct use is vital for health and safety.

Take this medication by mouth with a full glass of water (8 ounces or 240 milliliters) on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before a meal). Take ivermectin as directed by your doctor, usually as a single dose or a series of doses. The dosage is based on your weight, medical condition, and response to treatment.

Sildenafil is used to treat men who have erectile dysfunction (also called sexual impotence). Sildenafil belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. These medicines prevent an enzyme called phosphodiesterase type-5 from working too quickly

Sildenafil is a medicine used to treat erection problems (erectile dysfunction). Sildenafil is also sometimes used to treat pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the blood vessels that supply the lungs).

How does sildenafil work? Sildenafil belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works if you have erection problems by temporarily increasing blood flow to your penis when you get sexually excited. It works in pulmonary hypertension by relaxing blood vessels in your chest.

The usual dose is 50mg, when you need it. Do not take it more than once a day. The dose can be increased to 100mg or decreased to 25mg depending on its effect. Take sildenafil up to 4 hours before you want to have sex.

According to the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association (AHA), resistant hypertension is characterized by elevated blood pressure levels exceeding the target range, despite the simultaneous utilization of 3 different classes of antihypertensive medications. These classes typically include a combination of a calcium channel blocker, a renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system blocker (angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor or angiotensin receptor blocker), and a diuretic. These drugs are administered at the highest daily doses a patient can tolerate. The FDA approves minoxidil for maintaining blood pressure levels in patients with resistant hypertension.[6] The low adverse-effect profile of low-dose oral minoxidil aids in long-term adherence to treatment and positive clinical response.[8] More studies are needed to test the efficacy of oral and sublingual minoxidil when treating various alopecia to improve patient outcomes and provide an alternative for those with difficulty with topical formulations.[9] 

Minoxidil shortens the telogen phase to prompt the dormant hair follicles for premature transition into the anagen phase. The shortening of the telogen phase might lead to telogen effluvium following minoxidil therapy. Furthermore, minoxidil extends the anagen phase, resulting in increased hair length and thickness, thereby representing the observable outcomes of minoxidil therapy.[10] This potassium channel activity may induce the following effects:

• Stimulation of the microcirculation around the hair follicles induces arteriolar vasodilation, thereby encouraging conditions conducive to hair growth.
• Induction of the vascular endothelial growth factor expression leads to heightened vascularization around the hair follicles, thereby promoting hair growth.
• Activation of the prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase-1 enzyme leads to the enhancement of hair growth.
• Inhibition of androgen-related effects on androgen-sensitive hair follicles.
• Direct stimulation of the hair follicles as the drug acts as an epidermal growth factor on the matrix cells, slowing their aging process and extending their anagen phase. This process is achieved through the activation of the beta-catenin pathway.
• Display of antifibrotic characteristics due to its impact on collagen synthesis.

Minoxidil + Finasteride Uses

Pirfenidone is used for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (scarring of the lungs with an unknown cause). Pirfenidone is in a class of medications called pyridones. It works by blocking the action of a certain natural substance in the body that is involved in causing fibrosis.

This tablet consists of the active ingredient Dasatinib. It is prescribed for adults and children above one year of age with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. This medicine is used to treat newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in the chronic phase and Ph+ acute lymphoblastic leukemia in patients resistant to other therapies. Chronic Myeloid Leukemia refers to a type of blood cancer that makes the body produce too many white blood cells that happen due to alteration in the Philadelphia chromosome. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is the most common form of blood cancer that affects children. In this case, the lymphocytes of white blood cells multiply too quickly and live too long. 

The common side effects that are likely to associate with Daslemia 50mg tablet are diarrhea, headache, cough, rash, nausea, tiredness, vomiting, muscle pain, weakness, low appetite, and high or low blood pressure. Inform your doctor if these side effects disturb or persist you. 

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Dasatinib and its ingredients. Before starting treatment with this medication, you should let your physician know if you have liver or heart problems, breathing difficulties, chest pain, cough, hepatitis B infection, or bleeding problems. This medicine could cause a severe reduction in the number of platelets, WBC, or RBC in the blood. Ensure that your physician monitors your blood levels at regular intervals. Tell your healthcare professional about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, antacids, and herbal supplements. It is not recommended for children below one year of age.

What is tucatinib?

Tucatinib is a type of targeted anticancer drug, which is used in combination with other medications for the treatment of advanced 

Tadalafil is usually taken only once per day. Follow all directions on your prescription label. Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.

Tadalafil can be taken with or without food.

Do not break or split a Cialis tablet. Swallow it whole.

For erectile dysfunction, take Cialis just before sexual activity but not more than once per day. It can be used up to 36 hours before sexual activity. Cialis can help achieve an erection when sexual stimulation occurs. An erection will not occur just by taking a pill. Follow your doctor's instructions.

Do not take Cialis for erectile dysfunction if you are taking Adcirca for pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.

If tadalafil is used as needed, you are not likely to be on a dosing schedule.

If you take tadalafil every day and you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
